June has closed and we are entering the second half of the year, time to take stock, take note of how 2017 is going for our businesses.
This is the time of year when we are all either going on holiday, on holiday, coming off holiday or looking forward to a holiday. Before we pack our bags, down tools and plan our holiday reads, take 15 minutes and review how your year is going.
In business, this is well worth doing, what have you achieved? what led to the achievements and successes so far this year? What business did not convert and why?
You often learn as much from the business pieces that do not convert as well as those that do convert, ask the question, why did a piece not go the way you had hoped? How can you build on this? This all about learning the lesson, hearing the information, listening and acting on the feedback for the future.
What is successfully bringing you business and putting you in front of your ideal customers and what hasn’t succeeded in doing that?
What lessons have been learnt? How can you build on this for the remainder of 2017? What do you want to achieve for the remainder of the year? What do you need to do in order to achieve the revenue goals and business goals for this year?
Everything is achievable, it is all about making it achievable, not getting overwhelmed if you can and taking the steps to get to where you need or want to be.
There are lots of questions in this piece, they are worth asking and answering honestly, it is what you do with the answers that counts.
For me, I will continue to help businesses (who are serious about success) to get in front of more of their ideal customers, to plan, package and promote their offering and recharge revenue plus plan their path to profit.
Enjoy the well earned holiday time you take this Summer.
